Philosophy
Turtle Island Children's Center (TICC) recognizes children are competent, capable, theory builders and participants in their own learning. Our program provides a creative and engaging environment for children between six weeks and five years of age supporting each child’s growth, development and sense of belonging in our community.
Mission
Turtle Island's mission is to provide children with nature-based, nurturing, and creative
experiences that build self-confidence, respect for others, environmental stewardship, and a
lifelong love of learning. We partner with caregivers to create a supportive community and deliver dependable, high-quality childcare and education.
Vision
To be a leader in early childhood education, where children, families, and educators thrive in a compassionate, nature-centered environment that fosters growth, connection, and a deep appreciation for the world around us.
